Instruction #85: Never encourage anyone to become a lawyer.
The mind wanders while wrapping Christmas gifts to Christmas past and gifts given and received. This year, my eye wandered too up to the bookcase there in the dining room where I labored.
A plaid book caught my eye, Life’s Little Instruction Book by H. Jackson Brown Jr. I pulled it off the shelf and flipped to instruction #85. I wrote this down, but could not stop there.
#32 Once in your life own a convertible. In Seattle?
#3 Watch a sunrise at least once a year. Again, in Seattle?
I got pretty exercised about all this and ultimately made a list, went downstairs and began a commentary on the book, now in this podcast. It lasts about 20 minutes, just click the arrow at the top.
For the Christmas season, I have to end with instruction #304:
Judge your success by the degree you are enjoying peace, health and love.
Merry Christmas everyone.
